A286 Sheets and Plates are iron-based superalloys primarily made up of iron, nickel (24–27%), and chromium (13.5–16%), with added molybdenum, titanium, and vanadium to boost performance. This alloy boasts high strength and corrosion resistance, particularly at elevated temperatures reaching up to 700°C (1300°F). Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of around 895 MPa, yield strength of 585 MPa, and excellent creep resistance. This unique combination of characteristics makes A286 perfect for components that require long-lasting strength and stability under thermal and mechanical stress.
