Hastelloy X Sheets and Plates are made from a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that boasts exceptional high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. Typically, this alloy contains around 47% nickel, 22% chromium, 18% iron, 9% molybdenum, along with trace amounts of cobalt, manganese, and carbon. In terms of mechanical properties, it provides high tensile and yield strength, outstanding creep and rupture resistance, and stability at temperatures reaching up to 2200°F (1204°C). Hastelloy X is known for its remarkable resistance to oxidation, carburization, and hot corrosion, ensuring that it maintains structural integrity and durability in critical high-temperature applications that experience mechanical stress and aggressive conditions.
