Hastelloy B2 Sheets and Plates are mainly made of nickel, featuring 28–32% molybdenum and low iron content, which gives them outstanding resistance to hydrochloric acid and other reducing agents. This alloy boasts high tensile strength, typically around 75 ksi (515 MPa), and a yield strength of 30–40 ksi (205–275 MPa). With an elongation of about 40% over 2 inches, it shows good ductility. Its melting point hovers around 1350–1400°C, and with excellent corrosion resistance, Hastelloy B2 maintains its structural integrity even in extreme chemical and thermal conditions, making it perfect for highly aggressive industrial environments.
