Copper Nickel 90/10 Foil is made up of around 90% copper and 10% nickel, with small amounts of iron and manganese to boost its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. This alloy typically delivers tensile strength ranging from 310 to 450 MPa, while still maintaining good flexibility and toughness, even in very thin gauges. It shows exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in environments rich in chlorides. Additionally, the foil offers excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, weldability, and formability, making it easy to fabricate and ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions.
